LOVE the Buffalo Springfield!! I picked up a mono copy of their 1st lp a few years ago. BUT,mine has a song called "Baby Don't Scold Me" in place of "For What It's Worth". The b-side of the For What It's Worth 45 has a KILLER Neil Young tune on it called "Do I Have To Come Right Out and Say It". Check it out,it's an awesome song!! Better than the a-side imo.

That's kinda' why i was bringing it up.Lately there's been a problem i'm having with what was exactly as you mentioned so as to not get us banned from bitog to beat around the bush ..no not THAT Bush..you know what i mean...

One of my fave 'Supergroups' of all time, and grateful for all of the GREAT bands they spawned; Poco, CSNY, Manassas, etc.

My fave from them was/is the Neil Young tune "On The Way Home", which I've seen the latest iteration of Poco do a bang up live version of at our concert series (as well as the Richie Furay tune from that era, "Kind Woman").

Dewey Martin (Buffalo Springfield`s rhythm guitarist) was also in the Standells briefly and The Modern Folk Quartet.
