+1 to Quattro's response. As far as the use of the Rotella T6 goes, I would also shy away from it and use their 15W40 in place of it. I also have an 07 FZ1 (which is technically unchanged from your 2013 except for a revised ECU for improved throttle response) and have been using Rotella's 15W40 and it has been performing flawlessly in the bike. As was stated earlier, T6 is a fantastic oil in many applications, but has generally shown in various UOA's to be lacking shear stability (either due to mechanical or chemical shear, i.e, fuel dilution) in a variety of shared sump motorcycles.
In addition, if your signature at the bottom of your post is accurate, it looks like you own a new one with only 1K miles on it (you're going to have a blast racking the miles up on this bike!). With that in mind, if you are still under warranty or have purchased the "Yamaha Y.E.S" extended warranty, you'll find not only in the manual but more extensively in their authorized service manual that Yamaha only recommends a 10Wxx, 15Wxx, or 20Wxx grade oil, and that anything lower than a 10Wxx (SRT 5W40) could void your warranty agreement should an issue arise with your FZ1 and they request proof of maintenance not performed at the dealership. The Rotella 15W40 is also rated JASO MA, and has somewhat recently been updated to JASO MA2, and will work perfectly with your planned 2-3,000 mile OCI's.
