Who has cleaned a EA air filter

Wanted to see who has cleaned one. I just did mine with low pressure air.

I did not really see anything come out of it. I am sure stuff got caught in it though. I have put about 14k miles
and 18 months on it.

I know I went a little too long.......

I have. 8-10lbs of air. And vacuum after that. Am waiting on a new UOA to see #'s.

I cleaned mine with a compressor after about 1 year. LOTS of stuff came out of mine. Mostly fine sand that is typical around here. Next time I plan to use a vac with the brush, but did not have one on hand this time. The intake behind the filter was spotless.

Yeah, just use low pressure compressed air or a vacuum.

DO NOT USE WATER AND SOAP. This is a cellulose (paper) based filter and will reduce it's tear strength if it gets wet.
