What better to way to enjoy the long weekend than getting greasy, am I right?

I'm not doing anything on my cars but will finally help my buddy with an oil change on his oil burner Civic. Got the VML and Fram TG ready to go!

I'm not the only one huh? I just got inside from changing the oil on the wife's Camry, along with a new air filter and rotating the tires. Added 4 1/4 quarts of Havoline 5W30 and a TRD oil filter. I actually cut open the Napa Platinum oil filter that I took off of it, along with a Napa Gold that was on there previously, my helpful wife took a bunch of pictures of the dissected filters, and as soon as I can figure out how, I'm going to post them up for others to take a look at if they would like. Glad I'm not the only one enjoying some preventive maintenance duties this weekend

Well I sorta did oil change. TPS was acting up in 2015 Honda Civic SE so I took it too dealer. They drained and refilled tires with n20 and replaced oil filter and I topped off w lubegard biotech additive in new filter and had to add another 100ml of castrol edge 0w20 to put it to full. Whole cost was 4.26 and that was it. Not bad. I habitually change filter and top off at 5 to 6k. My old boss from Napa runs the shop so I get 10 percent above cost on everything.

No oil change but I did just replace the fuel pump in my sisters ford escape. Would've been a 30 minute job but she bought the wrong pump and the store that had the right one was full to the brim with customers in line.

No oil change this weekend.
I did have to change the water pump on the old Vibe though , bearing was going out.
Went smoother than anticipated.

Bled the brakes on dad's 240z yesterday then today was my Jeep. Also new pads and rotors up front as well as a few turkey blasts to the PS system and a t case fluid change.

Tomorrow is the 6 month OCI in the Volvo. Cant wait to see the filter.

Did the oil change on the van just before this weekend. Drained out the Pennzoil Ultra and refilled with my second free case of Ultra along with a wix filter and replaced the cabin air filter. It's all set for the summer road trips!

Does it get much more American than changing oil on 4th of July weekend? I don't have any oil to change lol.

I still got way to many miles to even change mine out of boredom, and the other I can't service since it had a motor replacement under extended warranty.

I'm doing one tomorrow on a woman that lives 2 miles from me. She's older and retired so it's getting ST 5w30 and a tough guard filter since she puts maybe 2,000 miles a year on the car.

Heat index is supposed to be 110 tomorrow. No oil change. My changes normally fall in December.

Need to do one on the Kenworth T370, don't know when I'll have time though. Got my fluids and filters waiting though.

Added a qt of oil to the truck, that will get me to my next change in another 1500 miles.
Also changed upper control arms and lower ball joints on the truck.
Took me a second to realize what you were saying with "long weekend" since I work Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, so yeah, it is going to be a long weekend.

Hope to do the Civic and the new Versa tomorrow. The 70+ quarts in the stash are itching to do some work...
