What specific Falken/Kumho/Hankook tires?
What do the numbers on TireRack show?
I've installed 3 sets of Kumho tires recently and have been very satisfied. Two sets were summer tires and one set of winter tires.
What vehicle are they going on?
If you want to consider something at a higher price/performance level, I personally own and recommend the Continental Extremecontact DWS06 plus, ride comfort, quietness, handling especially in the wet I find exceptional. There is currently a $110 rebate in effect, $220 if a Continental credit card is used.
Any specific reason for those tires and not top shelf tires?
I think he was replying to the OP about the Falken, Kumho and Hankook tires.
I go by Tire Rack ratings. The Kumho is not rated. They don't have that Falken so I used their highest rated Falken, the Wildpeak. The Hankook aren't bad but aren't great compared to the Wildpeak or the Michelin Crossclimate and Pirelli Scorpion AS Plus. The Scorpion is my current first choice, the CC second if I were in the market. Good luck with whatever you choose.
I have also owned the Michelin Crossclimate II'S, excellent tires, handle well, comfortable ride, actually good in snow and wet. Long lasting.
I wouldn’t put middle tier tires on a cayenne.
I’ll absolutely second the continental DWS+ for this car. If rain traction is important and lateral traction isn’t a huge factor for her, the michelin CrossClimate 2s are superb. If beach driving is a thing, I’d consider the Yokohama g015.

How important is winter/snow performance?
If it doesn't matter in SC, there's the Michelin Pilot Sport 4 SUV or the Bridgestone Dueler HP Sport
If you need at least some consideration for winter/snow, consider the Pirelli Scorpion Zero AS Plus
I would look at all season SUV/CUV tires that are rated XL load rating and minimum of V speed rating.
I don’t think any of the tires listed fit into that category.
For a Falken tire, the Azenis FK460 AS would work.
For a Kumho tire, the Krugen HP71

Thanks for all the info and suggestions. Will start looking at some other options again.
Was looking at something mid price range bc we plan to only have the vehicle maybe another year . No offroad or winter driving. pretty much all highway
Came across a set of Yokohamas Advan Sport that seem decent. rated XL -110Y on closeout for $186 each. Will also look into some of the other options mentioned

Also check Walmart for tires since you mention price and only having it another year.
