Currently have Goodyear Eagle Sport All Season 275/55/20's on my supercharged Tundra. Truck not driven much and think the tires are about 10 years old and only have about 15K miles on them. Only used when want to drive something different or need to use it like a truck. . Not looking to buy immediately but looking for other options than the Goodyear Eagle Sports. Was thinking about the General G-MAX AS-07.

What's everyone's opinion on the General tires or any other options for a good ultra high performance all season tire.

Tire Rack comparison between the two noted above.

There's nothing wrong with the G-Max, but if winter/snow performance is important, consider all-weather tires. The Bridgestone Weatherpeak is a good price for name-brand all-weather tires in your size. For something cheaper, there's the Fortune Climaflex 4S (made by Prinx)

You could also get the coolest-looking AT or MT tires in that size, as lots of those tires have really cool-looking treads :D

Generals are good tires owned by Continental AG. You should call around to local tire shops I found Mavis to be reasonable four tires mounted/balanced with alignment under $600 bucks my tires are not ginormous likes your (225/65R17). I am not hard on my cars and pretty much just do errands and grocery shop so I don't need a performance tire. Does it matter if the Tundra is supercharged?

Thanks and winter and snow is not important.

Thanks and didnt know General was owned by Continental. I really like Continental tires. Only mentioned it was supercharged since want something with decent grip.

I have the as-07 on the 2020 elantra and they replaced the previous tires as-05

Been satisfied with them. also have a rebate currently, $160 if you have a general, continental, or tire rack continental CC or $80 if not

They are a good combination of handling and traction without feeling EVERY bump in the road.

Price to performance ratio is very good.

Thanks for the information. Will highly consider the AS-07 when the time comes in a few months.

My truck came with the same size tires. Nothing in that size is cheap…

That said, you have a very particular set of performance requirements. Most guys with a Tundra want some sort of all weather, and often all terrain, capability.

For your performance requirement, the G-Max AS-07 would be a good pick.

I’ve been happy with every set of General tires I’ve ever purchased.

Good to know Maybe will be discounts closer to July 4th.
the previous 5 years or so there has been one for performance and car tires now, and one in the fall for "truck" tires such as GRABBER AT
at least from the manufacturer. Retail chains can run additional sales.

If you had the CC your size is currently 184.99 each and a 160 rebate on 4.
Which is Immensely cheap.
IIRC on the 2020 ram the tires were $350 each last time.

I agreed, this is all about the look.
