Hello BITOG. In the stash I have 2 cases of Valvoline 5w30 conventional SM and one SN. And have one 5w30 Blend jug of MaxLife and 2 Super Tech 5w30 synthetic jugs. Also 24 quarts of Chevron Supreme 5w30. Thinking of using the Valvoline 5w30 conventional that's 2006 dated in Focus first to use up the oldest.
Which oil from stash to use up first?

Yep, I'd use up the oldest first. It's all quality, name brand oil so all is well!
FIFO product rotation= First In, First Out.
Yeah, I'll use the Valvoline conventional first, then the MaxLife and then the Synpower since I have 15quarts of that
Maybe the oldest first, as it may be an older spec; then the better synthetics. Then as the car ages and you don't care any more, start using the cheaper stuff and/or conventional.
Or just dump it in. None of it looked that old, out of date, nor going into something that would care.

Of course since cold weather is right around the corner and the car will be operating in frigid weather maybe use the synthetic during the winter months. Use the conventional in the warmer months since the oil won't expire like old milk.
I don't think a Duratech 4cyl cares much about syn or conventional as I had MaxLife blend 5w30 in last winter
I see an opportunity to make up some fine frankenbrews......

use it from newest to oldest.
this way you can come back in a couple of years and brag about how old the oil you just used was, and how it "didn't do any harm"

Check to see if you have any leakers, if so use those first. Make sure all security seals are in place and the levels are all at the same spot.

You could. But, you'd end up with an additive package that no oil company sells or can certify. The Valvolines are higher sodium oils. Super Tech and Chevron are not. Those are similar to SOPUS products (high Ca, no Na/Mg). I'd have no problem mixing the Super Tech and Chevron though.

You could. But, you'd end up with an additive package that no oil company sells or can certify. The Valvolines are higher sodium oils. Super Tech and Chevron are not. Those are similar to SOPUS products (high Ca, no Na/Mg). I'd have no problem mixing the Super Tech and Chevron though.

I use the oldest stuff first.
My truck is running Valvoline Nextgen from 2011/2012 (and has one more jug left on the shelf), then some Castrol GTX Blend from 2012/2013 for 2 changes, Then some Havoline HM from 2014 for 2 changes.
Wifes car is running some Pennzoil Platinum from 2009, next is some PP from 2010/2011. Then 2 changes of PP from 2013/2014.
I figure by 2018 I should be ready to start using oil made in 2015 from my stash.
