Which New Walk Behind Mower You Would Buy Today?

Get the 163cc engine and rear wheel drive. The smaller 140cc and 150cc engine models will struggle with mulching. If you can afford it go with the 21" aluminum deck Super Recycler, it mulches better than anything else on the market and it will last twice as long as the 22" steel deck models. The aluminum deck 21" Toro Recycler that I have now is 31 years old with over 1500 hours on it. It is on it's last legs, smoking bad but still going. I purchased a #21462 to replace it but I'm going to run the old one until it dies.

If my Toro was to crap out this spring, I would probably pick up the Milwaukee electric mower. I have watched a few reviews of electric mowers, and I know that there are other higher rated electric mowers. But I really want to minimize how many styles of chargers that I need to have in my garage. And the Milwaukee still performed pretty well. What I see as the biggest down side to the Milwaukee is price.
I’m wondering when the absolute last Honda lawn mower will be sold so we can dispel the rumours that packs of them still exist.
I vote for the Toro Personal Pace Recycler with the Briggs and Stratton engine.

I have to say this one would be near the top of my short list. 190cc B&S with pressure lube system.

Too many issues turning up with big box store Toro mowers sold … Plastic parts falling off in thd first hour of use , hard starting B&S engines , etc. My Honda 217 190cc was a great mower - too bad Honda bailed on the USA mower market. I’ll probably go to the dark side and get an EGO mower on sale which includes a package deal on batteries .
What happen to Honda ?

If I needed one I’d buy it in a heartbeat.my 10 year old Honda has been literally issue free since purchase.

Toro Timemaster 30". About $1500 or $1600. Well worth it. Best mower I have owned.
