Get the 163cc engine and rear wheel drive. The smaller 140cc and 150cc engine models will struggle with mulching. If you can afford it go with the 21" aluminum deck Super Recycler, it mulches better than anything else on the market and it will last twice as long as the 22" steel deck models. The aluminum deck 21" Toro Recycler that I have now is 31 years old with over 1500 hours on it. It is on it's last legs, smoking bad but still going. I purchased a #21462 to replace it but I'm going to run the old one until it dies.I will be potentially using to mulch fine or tall fescue grass - if looks like the Briggs 190cc is in the Toro upper end series of the recycler . I was hoping thd 163cc would be a good all around size but maybe less so for mulching ?
I’m wondering when the absolute last Honda lawn mower will be sold so we can dispel the rumours that packs of them still exist.Another Honda while they are still in stock.
I have the Personal Pace mower with the Honda GCV 160 engine and aluminum deck.

"In late 2022, Honda made the decision to stop manufacturing gas-powered lawn mowers. The plans wouldn't go into effect immediately, with the company wrapping up production in late 2023 and selling units through 2024 until they are all gone."
