Walk behind mower blades

So my oldest started helping with some grass mowing last year and the blade shows it. Couple of big dings that aren't going to grind out. Its usable for now but I'll probably replace it later this year or next season.

Anyways, wondering what blade might be the best option for my use case. I basically don't bag and only use the side discharge if I fall behind and its too heavy to mulch. What I'd like is a blade that can process heavy cuts and fast walking with the best efficiency and least bogging. Would the stock style 3-in-1 be best or should I look at a mulching specific?

I'm no mower expert, but over the years I've had the best results sticking with a mower's name brand blade vs. a generic blade from some place like China. And even if a Toro or Snapper blade is made in China, I'd bet the specs are better than a generic one. It doesn't pay to skimp on that mower part.

21 inch. Troy Built 490XP but I dont think that matter much.
Well, it kinda does. However, Troy Built 490XP (with the Honda engine) has 4 different blades to choose from. Usually, the blade from the manufacturer (or their supplier) will be the best performing, and in this case, I would suggest getting the dedicated mulching blade if you primarily mulch. That blade will still side discharge for the heavy grass situations you might run into.
