Another vote for EGO - had the 1st gen and now 2nd gen walk-behind bagger/mulcher/side-discharge for the past 8 yrs. Mower is warranteed for 5 years, and 5 yr battery warranty (if registered). My 2nd gen has a 56V 10 Amp-hr battery that would easily have enough juice to cut a 1/2 acre. And it has built-in headlights!

I have their 530 Cfm blower, edger, line trimmer, snowblower, hedger, and power-head, which can drive multiple attachments (i.e., pole saw, flex-head hedger. I only had an issue with two batteries, but both were replaced under warranty, and the 1st gen mower had a rear clutch seize-up after 5 years, so while it was getting repaired, I bought the 2nd-gen mower, and then sold the repaired 1st-gen mower to my neighbor across the street for $100. Win-win for everyone.
Huh, looks like EGO is preparing to release a dual-motor, 30" cut, composite deck, walk-behind mower soon:
