Which is the better Mercon V?

Around here Formula Shell, Castrol, and Ammco are three Mercon V ATF fluids which are readily found in auto parts stores. Of the three which one is the best?

Personally, if the bottle says something like "Meets Ford specs for Mercon V" I would think it should be OK. I've been using the Castrol Mercon V in my '99 Taurus and '01 Windstar and haven't felt any ill effects. I have seen other brands of Merc V that don't have the Ford stamp of approval, though I can't remember what it was.
