I still use the old green coolant.I was using Prestone until they changed it.There are three places that I know of that still sells it.Which is the better of the three or are they all the same?
Valuecraft-AutoZone
ProLine- Pep Boys
Texaco- Dollar General store

I recently purchased PEAK (traditional formulation) at Pep Boys. It was the only traditional that I could find locally- I'm not sure if I looked at the ProLine, though. Make sure ProLine has not also converted to "all makes all models" like Prestone, SuperTech, and Advance Auto brand.

Blue,

Two recent threads are very educational regarding conventional green coolants. Check out "Valuecraft coolant-Autozone" and "The purpose of silicates".

It seems that many rebranded coolants are made by the Old World Co., including Peak, and are excellent.

Zerek also has a conventional green coolant - check their website.

One new thing I just learned is that today's conventional coolants are reformulated and are low silicate compared to the old green Prestone.
