I have read about this product here and would like to try it. I read about applying it then put a coat of Gold Class Wax over that. I have 3 tubs of the Gold Class wax and like it, so thought I would give this a try in our brutal SE Texas sun.

My local wallyword does not carry it. Does Auto Zone have it?

Good to see a fellow Meguiars user on here! Polymer #20 Sealant has been around since dirt was invented. My Local AZ only carries the consumer line and #7 and #26 from the pro line. You can get it right from the Megs site here:

http://www.meguiars.com/estore/product_detailpage.cfm?product=Polymer-Sealant&sku=M-20

Or you can look around for some local Paint and Body Shop supply stores, they might stock it. If they don't have any you can ask them if they can order it for you,,,AR

I'm a big fan of Meguiars stuff now! My detailing guy uses Meguair's #26 on my Corvette and it comes out looking awesome! I might try out the Meguairs NXT on top of the #26 to see how it works out.

I registered on the Meguairs message forum but never got my confirmation email so I could post! And they don't give out a contact email to get in touch with one of the admins on there either!

Dont use NXT on top of 26, it will eat the 26 off. Use #26 on top of NXT if you want to layer it

NXT has cleaners in it so you can't layer it.

#20 has wax and silicones in it so you can't layer that either.
It is imperitive to do the surface prep of claybar and a non wax polish to get that surface smooth and unswirled as possible. Megs DACP is good for this.
Zaino and Klasse SGF are the choice layering acrylic sealants.
You should wait 24 hours between coats of an acrylic sealant for the polymers to crosslink and cure.
After you have layered and cured until you can't stand it anymore, top it with that high quality wax for a deep look.

What I'll probably do then, is wait and see how long the #26 lasts. Canadian Tire has a sale on an 8" 2600rpm buffer, so I'm going to buy one and give it a try in a few weeks or so (or whenever the #26 protection is gone) with some NXT.

Then I'll get my detailing guy to put some #26 on top of the NXT. Thanks for the advice!
