European cars often have special alignment procedures, so I would suggest using the dealer. I don't know if using a "European car specialist" repair shop is a good alternative or not, as I have never gone to one of those places.
I hope the rear wheel alignment is still good on your Beetle. Typically with that kind of rear suspension, you would have to get a shim replaced, and pay for about 1 hour of labor. When was the last time your car was aligned?
