Discount Tire (America's Tire in California) sells the donut spares.
Any chance a full size spare will fit in the trunk? If so go to a junk yard and buy a wheel and have a tire mounted on it.

Go to the you pull and look for a newer w body with a spare, probably an impala has the same pattern, they make them all the way up to current year so a fresh one might be around
I just found out that GM has the whole wheel and tire assembly for $98.31 -- but I'm surprised as heck the tire stores don't sell them.
The original full size spare in my 2000 E430 was never used, I replaced it with half worn Continental couple years ago, I sold that brand new tire on Craigslist.
The original compact spare of my S2000 was never used and it wasn't in the car either, it is in garage somewhere.
The full size spare of LS400 used once or twice in 22 years.
Probably no more than 1-2% of all vehicle owners ever buy compact spare tire, the ones that bought it probably 1 spare every 10-20 years, that why almost no tire store carry it.

If you play around on tire rack you can probably find another size that is very close and is cheaper. I ended up getting a kuhmo for around $65 for my grandparents Saturn L200. Just have to play with a tire size calculator.
Never been a huge fan of donut spares. Unless I owned a vehicle with an oddball bolt pattern (such as 5x105 ... even more rare in a junkyard than Ford's 4 and 5x108) I would just go to a junkyard and grab a full size wheel and decent-ish tire or a cheap chinese tire and put it on the wheel.

125/80D16 is only 1in taller than your factory spare and is actually closer to your cars normal tire size.
Only reason I know about this is the Firestone temp spares have a tendency to blow up in the trunk at around 15yrs old..

My Goodyear compact spare did this @ ~14 years old, but being mounted in the hatch area (albeit under a plastic trim cover), under that HUGE rear window, it just COOKS in the summer months.

I got one guys. I went out to the salvage yard crawling around through a bunch of cars. At least half the spare tires get used as jack stands to support the cars, and the other half get thrown around here and there. I found one sitting in a 2003 LeSabre that still looked new. I don't think it had ever been on the road. $15.
I could've bought the wheel part at the dealer for $145 and then bought the tire to mount on it for $158 at the tire store. Dealer only has the wheel part. Total would've came out to around $300. So anyway, I hope this helps somebody out. If you need a new compact spare tire, go to the salvage yard.
