Where is the talk about real guns?

This is a ludicrous thread. Macho-ism brought to it's laughable and absurd extreme. Somehow a muzzleloader and a shotgun are 'real' weapons because they're used 'to kill with' while all the other stuff is out here is just for 'plinking at the range.'

This is just silly. And before anybody gets the wrong idea - yes, I have some high powered rifles and some big, manly shotguns that I've killed with. I've also shot deer with a .357 and, more recently, with a .45 even though they aren't real guns.

I can agree, they are exactly the same but different.

You can call [censored] all you want, but the facts are the facts. I've killed coyotes, fox, possum, sage rats and prairie dogs with an M16. Deer and one moose with a Garand. Jack rabbits with a M1 carbine and various 22's. Also punched a ton of paper with these and several other weapons. If you pull the triger and an propellant forces a projectile down the barrel, it's a "manly" gun in my book.

Oh sorry I was misunderstanding what you were saying...I just got home from a long night at work and thought you were referring to killing two-legged warm blooded creatures. So sorry...

I feel that as long as a gun is legal we should enjoy our 2nd Amendment rights and shoot for fun. Shoot to hunt. Just shoot. Sorry about my earlier post.
