Where is a good place to pick up clear brake bleeder hose?

I'm thinking about giving all the cars a brake fluid flush/bleed.

Just don't have a clue on where to get the right size tubing?

I've got a 95 accord if that matters.

I can't help you with exactly what size you need. I made my brake bleeder out of a 2 liter soda bottle and clear vinyl tubing I bought at the local hardware store in the plumbing department. Punch 2 holes in the cap of the soda bottle, one to put the tubing in and the other for a vent. I do recall that I needed 2 different sizes for all the brakes I bleed through the years. You can either pull a bleeder screw to take with you to the hardware store or take the shotgun approach and buy a couple feet of several different sizes since vinyl tubing is dirt cheap.

On my Honda, I'm pretty sure it was 3/8 ID (inside diameter) tubing, and I got it at Home Depot. Costs like 25 cents a foot or something.

The nicest brake bleeder hose I ever had was the one that the Speedbleeder guy sells. It was not-quite-clear, but had an elasticity and limpness that the clear hardware store hose lacks. Nice enough that someone swiped it!

I made my one man bleader by using a fish aquarium one-way check valve (3 dollars) and 2 lengths of clear (about 1/8 inch ID) tubing from a hardware store. One 8 inch length of tubing to the check valve from the caliper and one lenght of tubing from the check valve to a glass bottle. Works great and cheap. Ed Hayes

Would wal-mart carry that one way valve?

Or would I have to check out a fish store?

lowes carries the 3/16" tubing that was perfect at $0.12/ft

couldn't find a one way valve.

3/16 seems to be the correct size for most applications. i bought mine from the hardware store. some autoparts stores sell it also.

I just use vacuum hose but splice a piece of clear tubing near the bleeder screw (5 inches) to watch for bubbles.
I use a vacuum connectors to connect them all together.

I have a two inch piece of vacuum tubing on the bleeder end that allows it to grip the bleeder screw real well.
