Where do you get your UOA's and Why ?

I like blackstone. They give a lot of data, but I wish they had oxidation and nitration. I ship priority mail, so it gets there in two days.

They postal clerk always asks me what is in the bottle and I always just say "its Non-Hazardous." (in a very confident tone of voice). They look at it for about 30 more seconds then drop it in the bin.
 
When I sent a sample to Blackstone (found them on this site), I went to 2 FedEx places, including their airport facility and they told me that I needed to fill out a form and talk with someone that was not there, come back another time.....

So, I went to the airport USPS facility, and the clerk was giving me a hard time.....she was afraid it would leak.....I opened it up, and told her.....If they thought there was any chance of leakage....they would not have had me put my check in here.

Another clerk looked over and said..."It's OK....we get those all the time".
I would think so......as this testing would be normal with aircraft engines.

Short answer.... Blackstone, because they are recommeded here....and support this site.
 
I use Wearcheck Canada, mainly because they are located only 20min away from me, so I can drop my samples off directly! I used to have a 24 hour turnaround time, but for some reason now they insist on testing every sample for TAN, and that test seems to take them a long time to do. Now my turnaround time is more like 72 hours. Still good, but I prefer it quicker! (especially since I don't want TAN!)
 
I use a couple strips of packing tape(kind with the strands in it) to seal the outside lid on nice and tight..postal clerks in my town don't even give it a second glance..."1.59 please...thank you"

Down in MA the clerk at the Peabody office asked me what it was..just told her an oil sample...she looked at it for 10 seconds and then threw it in the bin....whatever lol...I'll say it again..Blackstone rocks on their speed!
