When will motor oil prices increase?

Retailers have not seemed to upward adjust their motor oil prices yet in spite of oil prices soaring, and inflation... Gas prices however have gone up significantly.

Any guesses on if or when retailers will start to adjust oil prices or are these loss leaders for retailers?

I'd be more concerned about availability down the road for some basic maintenance items . I can't even find a air filter I need right now .
Domestic made parts should be easier to find I would think , but laying under my truck the other day all I saw was mexico and china stamps . It is what it is but can't Ford find any part factories that can make any parts here ?
It's a global economy , which is good but deal with countries that kind of like the United States somewhat . End of rant .

Schaeffer has gone through 3 price increases in 6 months I think, I just bought a 55 gallon drum of John Deere Hygard for our farm that was on sale for 10% off but still 150-200 higher than a few months ago. Maybe the retailers haven't increased yet but I'm definitely feeling the pinch even buying in bulk.

Niche product oil will still go on clearances, particularly the November Autozone ones.

There's no niche gasoline, and if there were, it'd go the other way.
