And how did you get it?

Mine w1984!as about four years ago, picked up a screw in the tread. TPS gave me plenty of warning.

Before that it was around 1984!

Knock on wood I’ve not had one ever. Been driving for almost 30 years and several vehicles. The wife has had a few nails or screws and the kid got tangled up with a pot hole and a bad valve stem.

I think it was about 2 years ago. Picked up a metal splinter of some sort, and had a slow leak that tripped the TPMS.

Oh boy...
2012. Not sure how but had a flat after work and didn't have a jack or tools. My dad came up to bring one and help me with it.

We had just a widow maker and after a while, in the dark, we got the spare tire on. When we set the truck down, the spare tire squashed down to the ground. Truck sat there a few days lol

About 3 years ago the last time I put on the snow tires for our 2001 impala before we got rid of it, the front drivers side summer tire had a screw in it that was long enough to go all the way inside, but it was still holding full pressure. Fortunately it was in a good section to be able to be plugged.

Over the last 30 years I bet I have removed more that 50 screws or nails from a local alley where I garaged my 1985 Olds 88 coupe. It seams contractors throw everything in the open bed of there trucks and bounce down the roads not caring if some screws or nails bounce out.

Just a few months ago at 0330 in the morning on my way to work. I ran over a hitch pin of all things that ruined the left rear tire on my 2019 Ram 1500. Tire didn't blow, but went flat in seconds. I have a post with pics here somewhere.

None in my personal vehicles. Plenty times in the company trucks with the cheapest recaps in the rear.

Not once in 45 years of driving. I realize I have been very lucky, but I also believe in regular tread/sidewall/tire pressure inspection.

1987.
I saw the 2X4 in the road but couldn't dodge it due to an oncoming vehicle and a very low shoulder. Yep, a nail punctured one of my brand new (less than 100 miles) Radial T/A's on my 77 Z/28. Luckily, I was between turnarounds and was working in my uncles full service gas station, and his tire store up the road.

In Mexico city 5 times and once in Queretaro which was a 3x5 metal plate the destroyed the inside of the tire at 4:30AM on my way to Dallas with my wife and kiddo in the car. Before Mexico City once in 1995 on my motocycle. My wife oth must be followin nail trucks because she gets them all the time.

Probably 3 years ago now. Coming home from a class when my TPMS went off in the Acura. By the time I flipped over to the pressures screen the tire was already at 18 (Down from 35-36) and counting down 18...17...16...15... Luckily I was at an exit from the interstate and managed to get off. By the time I got stopped it was completely flat. something had cut about a 1" "C" shaped cut in it. No idea what caused it, but changing a tire in GA....in July...in a black uniform....wearing a vest....is flipping HOT.

Couple a months ago, on a brand new tire on my way back home from the tire shop. Got on the hwy and heard a loud bang. No idea what i hit - I did not see it. Lost all air instantly and by the time I was able to decelerate and pull over, the tire was shredded - non repairable.

Yeah … with the tire monitors … don’t have them go completely flat anymore ..
Have even received OnStar alerts and emailed/texted my wife from overseas …

Last November.

When I started my car, the TPMS light came on and said my LR tire was low. Sure enough, it was and there was a nail in the center.

Luckily, it still held air. I filled it up and drove a few miles to have it patched.

I've had a flat with each of my last 3 vehicles:
2000 BMW - a nail
2007 Honda Accord - sharp rock (brand new tire)
2000 Toyota Solara (2) - in both cases the object was missing, possibly a nail or screw
