When to replace an "old" car....

I hate to be the guy to say it, but she is an adult. What does she want?

You can provide advice and guidance, but the fledgling is flying from the nest and needs to grow on her own by making decisions and learning from them.

Having 2 daughters, I get it, but she is an adult now. My daughter is driving my old Camry and is nearing 300k miles and isn’t listening to the advice I’m giving her on saving for a newer car. I am nervous for the day she calls needing help with a dead car, but that is her decision to make.

I didn’t read the whole thread, so maybe this was already brought up, but that his my $0.02.

I really appreciate it. She's always been pretty frugal, she saves really well. She likes the idea of a new(er) car but hates the idea of being broke for a new(er) car. I think this one will get her where she needs to be, and she does really like it. Thanks for the insight.
