When should an oil filter be changed?

For the right service type ..10-15k isn't that hard to do ..and do well. It isn't going to work for everybody.

Keep in mind PT1 ..it's how your mileage is accumulated that dictates how long your filter will be suitable for extended use. 5k is nothing in most cars. In something that does 3 miles round trip 365 in a 4 season climate

I'm game for my fiance's civic...but I've been ordered to just change it every 3k....I've moved it to 4k...but not sure i can convince her to go 5k on dino LOL.
