When did Asian cars (Nissan) go to silicate free?

My 95 Nissan today had the coolant reservoir almost empty during my oil change.

Therefore, I grabbed a sealed 50/50 O'Reilly Universal. However, it had strange years on it, like "all other models pre-1980)." I guess it wasn't the "All cars" model.

To the point, I still put in about 30 ounces of this to bring my reservoir up to max.

I imagine it had silicates and Nissan now calls for no silicate coolant. However, my old cars owners manual just says to use a "p glycol" that is "green."

When did Asian cars (Nissan) go to silicate free?

Should I not worry about it?

Thanks!

I read an article where it mentioned that Asian car manufacturers dislike silicates because some testing demonstrated that the silicates turned to a Gel that could clog coolant passage ways. The article also implied that this is a myth with the low silicate content in silicate based H-OAT coolants.

It's probably best to stay with phosphate based H-OAT coolants rather than mixing for your Nissan, but I wouldn't lose any sleep over it.
