I see Husky, Ford and others sell wheel well liners for my Ford F250. Looks like it's a 1 piece item you push up there and fasten. Do they replace what comes from the factory? Or go over? The Ford ones do not require and holes to be drilled. I hate drilling holes in my truck or boat.

Once installed can anything like salt get behind them?

Comments?

When I popped them in to my SIlverado-they were so snug I didn't use any fasteners. Many miles later I had some body work done on one fender and the body shop put fasteners in on both sides.

It's your decision to make. What many guys do is treat the area with anti rust paint or rhino type coating. Because yes-stuff can get behind them. I don't keep my trucks long enough to worry about this aspect. But it would be wise to do if you are looking at long term ownership.

My brother installed them on his truck. Bought the Ford ones. Used my advise buying them at a Ford dealer and asking for the garage price and paid $140 for them, like a few weeks ago. Has an F150 however. . Showing up in person, not calling, is more likely to get you better pricing at the parts counter. "Donalds Garage" hint hint. EDIT
