My Tundra has a spray in bed liner from the factory. It’s held up very well. I need to power wash it again after all the dirt, rocks, and plants that my wife has been hauling around, but that’s about it, and that’s cosmetic, not a real need.
It may not fit.I think I will have a Patriot liner sprayed on by a local shop.
Then put the factory liner back on.
You think the spray is that thick? It may not fit.
I’d just rattle can the spots - use them to anticipate future spots like welds/seams - hit those - drop ‘er back in …Maybe just paint the bed bottom with some bedliner from Amazon. The sides will be protected by the plastic drop in liner.
Probably not well.It may not fit.
Texas?Anything sitting in my driveway attracts hail. Our previous and current car only see the light of day when we're driving them (or I'm changing the oil). Otherwise, it stays in the garage.
Red oxide primer to spot treat …So the place that sprays Patriot liner says a plastic drop in liner may not fit proper if they do a spray bedliner.
Now I need to decide decide if I just paint the worn spots and minor surface rust with something like brush on bedliner or get it sprayed and get rid of the plastic drop in liner?
Yes, Round RockTexas?
I feel ya. Wylie here. My Canyon was 1 year and 4 days old when the 2016 hail storm came. 240 dents pulled out. I avoided one a year later by driving to the nearest gas station and getting under the awning but I came home to a kitchen full of skylight pieces and hail. It was hard to watch. The stones were huge and they were traveling almost horizontally. People who couldn't fit their car under the awning just had to sit there and take it. I watched the windshield of Camry get knocked in. This state has the worst climate of anywhere I've lived.Yes, Round Rock
