How would OP receive a Whatsapp call if he doesn't have the app installed on his phone?
NoIsn't that some kind of scam app?
It is. Folks that left Yahoo! created it, as I recall.I always thought whatsapp was a US invention
Yeah, it's not that popular here, at least not compared to the rest of the world. As my cousin in the UK says, "everyone under 40" (in Europe) uses WhatsApp.but I find it odd that Americans themselves dont use it.
WhatsApp was founded by a couple Yahoo workers, who sold their company to Facebook for $19B (with a B).I always thought whatsapp was a US invention, but I find it odd that Americans themselves dont use it.
It's not a scam app, it's a wonderful app!! I video call with my friends and family in Asia with it every day. Clear perfect video calls absolutely free of charge. I've been using it as long as it's been out. I'm not sure if cell carriers still charge for international texts and calls, but with WhatsApp it's always free.I just got a call from a number I've never seen before. 917 area code. I Googled it and it was some kind of WhatsApp number..
I didn't answer the call, but. Isn't that some kind of scam app?
Educate me, please.

Whew, for a moment I was worried that I might need to learn how to use it, thankfully I'm past the age limit.Yeah, it's not that popular here, at least not compared to the rest of the world. As my cousin in the UK says, "everyone under 40" (in Europe) uses WhatsApp.
I'd pick WhatsApp over Teams every time !At work we have Microsoft Teams, so I'm not sure I "need" to learn another app
