There isn't many dinner in a can choices, my favorite when I don't have time to cook is frozen Marie Callender's pasta that they are on sale often for $2 or less.

Can of Hormel Spicy chili, handful of shredded cheese, dash of whatever hot sauce I have on hand, and some tortilla chips.

Filling.

A) Vienna Sausage and Crackers
or
B) Potted Meat and Crackers

That is not a serious answer, but that was the first thing to come to mind......lol

Castleberry's chili.

As a matter of practicality, baked beans and hot dogs get eaten more often. Though the hot dogs need refrigerating.

Cover the sin with several tablespoons of mustard.

Hash and eggs are darn tasty, but of course, you need eggs.

LOL, never heard of that, but it doesn't sound bad at all to be honest!

A can of winter sprats with some bread will do for me. I also used to like Campbell's Chunky Corn Chowder. As far as the TV dinners... I ate so many of them when I was younger, I still don't feel like looking at one.

My favorite "Pogey Bait" in the Army was Ravioli-Os.
For those days that I got the completely inedible pork-pattie MRE.
I could eat them cold if I got stuck in the turret on long field problems.

Me and the kiddo tried to eat some Ravioli-Os for lunch the other day. They are not Franco-American anymore and they are not edible anymore. They were terrible. (note to self...Ravioli-Os are not acceptable rations for disaster kit)

I ended up just boiling some spaghetti and dumping some Paul Newman's marinara from a jar on it (like I should have done in the first place)

Can't go wrong with the nice rounded can of SPiced hAM! Especially if you've got a cast iron skillet in which to brown it up nicely. Although I have been known to slice off bits with my pocketknife and eat as-is.

No stove? The best meal in a can then is Guinness!

Hot & Spicy Spam sliced thin and fried with eggs for breakfast with some Jasmine rice

or

New Zealand Palm corned beef sauted with red onions and olive oil.
