My favorite apples are Fuji. They are very crispy/crunchy and taste sweet and a little sour at the same time. Very juicy, too.

Fuji are good but honeycrisp can taste even better!!! For pie's I preffer golden deliscious over any other apple!!!

Tip: Put small chunks of apple in your Turkey Stuffing along with Sage Pork Sausage.

Honeycrips are seasonal and start showing up in the late fall and are availible throuhgout the winter. Our supermarket's sell them!!!

I just had a Fuji the size of a softball. It tasted the way roses smell, somehow.

Crispen. (old name was Mutsu). Crispen is a cross between the Golden and the Fuji (although some say a cross between the Golden and the Indo).

Also like Russett's. Not good looking, but the taste GREAT.

Just discovered Honeycrisp this year and they are the new favorite.

Runners up are Gala and Golden Delicious.

Any that are crunchy and organic, because commercial apples are a major source of pesticides. Organic Fuji, Gala, etc. are real good.
