Friction free; lol. Sure. Like everything else Lucas it defies physics so it is worth a small fortune right?

I have heard the the Corvette guys use it with good results for rear wheel bearings.
Overpriced is one thing but 78.00 for 14oz is so crazy..
It makes me wonder.

Pretty good drop point but i used to have a timken machine and ive gotten over 60 lbs on cheaper grease. Id say not gonna compete with the big names unless it was made by one of them.

Just buy the cheaper grease at the store. I don't think its going to make a rats difference if you use $74.00 grease or $8.00 grease.

I have a specific need for front wheel bearings on a Miata running huge, sticky race tires. Bearing failure is a big deal (and very common).
We are running Redline now but I heard the Corvette folks have been using the other two greases with success.

When I raced in SCCA GT3, I used the redline CV2 grease and was very happy with it. Much cheaper than the Lucas product too.

We use Redline grease in the Porsche hubs...never a problem, wheel bearings/races last a long time. I have used NEO as well. Why not stick with those that are proven performers?

I can't figure how the lucas oil deal works any way they spend unreal amounts of money sponsoring any type of racing from cars, boats, airplanes, trucks, and even stadiums etc. etc. etc.. Where does all the money for this come from because sales numbers juit don't add up. Any way I don't use their products I use Chevron Delo Ep # 2 in our Sprint Car parts including Wheel bearings on Dirt cars and Pavement cars with very good results.
