Why is M1 grease so messy?

we used Mobil 1 grease at work for a while, well to make a long story short and a few bearings, we went with Schaeffers #274 and all was well. and some Mystik jt-6 semi-synthetic (blue color), which is a impressive grease.

M1 is the only grease at WM where the cardboard carton holding the tube is saturated red.

m1 is the leaky-est grease I've ever used.. I have a grease gun with green grease in it in my hot shed and no leaks even with plunger not pulled back..
doing everything right the m1 leaks out while stored in my 60f basement.
I dont care how good it is.. I'm not signing up for that.

Do you not notice a difference with M1?

I’ve had greases of different makes leak out of guns after a while. Seems like nothing then rapid onset. Maybe with a temperature change or whatever.

But yes, M1 does it more quickly and readily.

No issues with it from a tub.
