The cover that you pop off to remove the hub nut on a 2WD truck? pop the cover off, remove cotter pin & nut, and remove hub/drum & wheel bearings? I need one ones, and can't find one for the life of me??

Yes, thanks guys! Now to find who stocks one for my truck... Hopefully O'Reilly's, with the coupons & all...

Can anybody help me find these online, at least find a p/n?? I can't find them ANYWHERE

Strange, you'd think places would stock new ones. I bent mine trying to get them off my truck. Maybe I'll try to un-bend and re-use them then. maybe a light coat of RTV to keep [censored] from getting inside my bearings.

Have you tried Rock Auto?

Next time grab the hub cap with a big pair of Channellocks, putting one jaw on top, one on the bottom and keeping the handles pointed toward you. Rock the handles up and down and the cap will come off without destroying it.

Any parts store should have them. I can't believe they don't. You can also go to a trailer shop and they should have something that will work. It's just a common dust cover???

Dust covers generally aren't by model specific application unless you are at a dealer. They go by diameter( 2", 2 1/8", 2 1/4", etc... ).

This should not be something hard to find.

GO to an actual store and try asking for bearing dust caps or wheel hub dust caps. They may not have it by application so you may need to pull a rotor and then find one that fits. Look for the old cranky guy as he is most likely a long time parts guy who actually will know how to find a part when you can't punch it into the computer. Chances are the pimpley faced punk won't know how.

Actually, they are. They can rust out and/or get damaged removing them.

Usually, your local autoparts store carries them in the "HELP" section. I've even used different ones from different vehicles. If you have GM, just about any GM will fit. Same with FORD & Dodge!

Found them. O'Reilly had some generic ones in stock that are the same diameter. Thanks guys!!
