Whats this oil I bought?

I've been goofing with weedwackers this last week. Was wandering through Big Lots and I found a couple qts of "Kawasaki 2cycle Premium motorcycle engine oil". On the back of the bottle it says "SAE40 for service API TC, JASO FB".

I'm not up on 2 stroke ratings. Would this be ok for a weedwacker?

I have never seen an SAE40 rating on a 2 stroke oil either.

I've seen old, old, 30-weight 2 stroke outboard motor oil. In a can.

The bottle is plastic and looks pretty new.

Don't know about the Kawasaki 2-cycle oil, but the Kawasaki 4-cycle oil (for lawn and garden engines) is made by Opti.

JASO and TC are all you need to know. If the oil was good enough for their fierce two cycle motorcycles, it will be good enough for OPE. Use it and don't worry about it.
