More snow than usual here in central PA. Cold too but that's good, we need a cold snap to kill all the lantern flies and mosquitoes.

-35F here this morning, and yesterday morning, pretty much all week and it doesn't look like it's going to change much till sometime next week.

Poisonous. It'll be 75 F. and humid today; rain later and a high of 59 tomorrow; some chilly stuff this weekend into early next week . . . and then we can expect the temps to rise again, with the really vicious, will-sapping heat coming in late March to April and lasting until December.

We have 2 seasons. January, and SUMMER.

Up in Southern N.H, we have a Week of below freezing days and single digit nights lasting till
next Friday. A pretty bad cold snap for up here.
I Hope the Boiler holds up - the oil burner needs servicing and I don't like to take it apart when its that cold out

We are getting hammered by some serious thunderstorms right now. The temperature is dropping like a rock. We are supposed to have snow Friday. One day we're having a heat wave (78*) and now a winter wonderland (currently 52* and dropping).🤷‍♂️

And we are just now getting your thunderstorms here in central AL...

This morning 40 and windy. That is cold for me. Calling for down in the low 20's next week. Horrible. The only good thing is it won't last and may be back to running the AC in a couple of weeks.

Snow changing to rain overnight with temps going from the low twenties to odd mid thirties.
I hate that. I can't move that slush with a " walk behind" machine - but with maybe a shovel - but I'm old.
I would not care too much, but I am situated on a hill 175' from the street and I have to get
#2 Fuel oil deliveries monthly in the Winter.

Is there any place in Eastern US where there is moderate weather all year without a large Tornado threat?!

Midway, UT, at 8am 23 degrees, which if the news reported correctly is 5 degrees warmer than Houston which the news reported as 17 degrees this morning.

My work this week brings me travels first to Boston, then Chicago, then Seattle... so looks like I won't be able to avoid the cold spell hitting much of the USA.
