Whats next filter up to replace Fram ultra's...

Yeah i dont understand but I think yhey want you to use your phone with the newer subarus. My 2016 center dash console has a really nice unit that has all kinds of stuff including a maintenance reminder that you can set for tires, oil, etc ...her new one has the console but is static with only gas mileage and a clock. Going to see if you have to use the stupid app which I think is just well ya know
My PM drill is picture of oil/filter under hood + odometer …
Normally we remember the OLM ?

Having 2 Hondas, I find the dealership still seems to have access to the Fram sourced 15400-PLM-A02 but prefer not use them due to their questionable efficiency. Have switched to the Mobil 1 M1-110A and a search of 3 local Walmarts have yielded 4 of them, 2 were hidden on another shelf. The filter section of all 3 stores were pretty decimated. The nearest O'Reilly is about a 100 mile round trip, so I may take a trip and pick up some Microgard Select MSL57356. I don't usually stockpile, but I'm thinking that this situation isn't going to resolve quickly. The quest for a quality, well built filter for any application is problematic, especially if you are resistant to paying $15-20 at AAP, AZ or NAPA.

Here is the Microgard Select long version for Subaru from my Outback.

57055 crosses to the Fram 7317 which is the most common "large" M20x1.5 filter I know of. Lots of selection.

Have you considered Carquest premium? Can be had for ~$8-8.50 with AAPs coupon code and free shipping on $35+

Can someone tell me if this PG filter from autozone is only made for autozone P84712 is the 20k filter but on rockauto I only see the 10k versions. Can you get the 84712 filter anywhere else and if so what part number to look for, thanks.

You mean that PG Carquest filter from Advance Auto.. not Autozone. Yeah that is not available at the moment under PG label on RockAuto afaik. If you buy the oil change bundle at Advance then the filter price is cut in half more or less.

Yup sorry meant advanced auto, i wasn't seeing it on rockauto and assumed AA was the only place to get it, bummer wish they would pick it up but maybe its an exclusive thing with AA.

I have a near by AAP, I'll look into them. I'm presuming they are equivalent to the Microgard Select?
Yes, both are blend media and 10K mile rated filters. The Carquest Premium touts a little better efficiency on AAP's website, but could be that O'Reilly is just being conservative and they are basically the same efficiency.
