If you like Amsoil's 4-ball wear test as a measure of gear lube performance, look at RLI's 75W90. Better scores than Amsoil. I do not have any fleet UOAs for it, though, so it may or may not perform well over time. I am pleased with it in my personal vehicle.

Change it every 7-9 years whether it needs it or not...

to the drivetrain yes.

So are you saying that is bad or good that it has been this long?

Now that I changed to full synthetic I am not going to be changing the diff oil anytime soon. The tcase, however, I should have changed sooner. Since my tcase is the command trac.

And for the lucas. I just believe in the stuff.

Scores in the Four ball or?

I'm changing out the rear lube in my F250 (10.5" Sterling FF Axle w/3.73LSD). I've been looking at either the Valvoline Syn or Mobil 1. I'm going with Mobil 1 75-140, no additives being it already has the Friction Modifier in it. Only way I'm adding more FM is if I get Chatter. The Synpower would be my 2nd choice.

x2 on the Lucas you put in.. shame. lol.
