Changing the hoses and coolant in my son's 06 Dodge Stratus with the 2.4 turbo. It specs G-05. I have 1 gal of Zerex G-05. Mixed 50/50 with distilled water it will yield 8 qts. Cooling system capacity is 8.5-9 qts. I have 3 gals of Prestone all makes all models. Would you-
A. Use the Zerex and top off 1/2-1 qt with the Prestone
B. Buy another gal of Zerex and have 7 qts leftover

Thanks for your input fellas! I'll dilute it with a little more water to 55/45 mix. Should give me the extra I need.

I would mix it 50/50 first and then add a little extra water if needed. Seems like they over estimate coolant, ATF and Diff. fluids a lot at least for me. Do you ever drive where its colder in the winter?

That's what I would do as well, most liklely there will be some old coolant left over, so 8 qts. might be enough, and if after all air is purged the level is still not at the maximum, then top it off with water until you reach the full mark.

When I bought my G-05 at Napa, they also had a 50/50 mix in a bottle. After my change I just threw that back in the car for top-ups as necessary.
