What type of vacuum for car interior?

I have a Rigid wet/dry vac that replaced a Shop Vac brand wet/dry vac. I do not like the larger diameter hose on the Rigid vac I bought compared to the Shop Vac I had. I ruined the Shop Vac in a flood.
Yes, using rubber gloves or a rubber brush can work sometimes. It can create static electricity when rubbed to lift up hair.

I have a Milwaukee cordless vacuum. I prefer it over a shop vac.

If your doing the vacuuming in the garage, a cordless or shop vac would be fine.

If your going out to a dirt parking area then cordless would seem better.

This sounds similar to what I've used to remove pet hair from our furniture. Our Bissell vacuum came with a Turbo Brush Pet that works well on pet hair. It has a vacuum turbine that belt drives a rotary brush, there's also a rubber toothed comb at the vacuum inlet. The combination works well at picking pet hair out of the upholstery fabric.

Here's what it looks like: https://www.discountcleaningproducts.com...txZExoCC8fw_wcB

I found it by searching "pet hair removal vacuum tool". The one we have is nice because it can be taken apart. We've had it for many years and every couple of years I take it apart clean it and lube the bearings, it spins up pretty fast.

Thank you all for your tremendous input. I have a site to store Home Depot order for a rigid shop vac. I am now trying to determine if the bissel pet attachment will work.

Troll! So Shop Vac brand is now "one time use only?" Give me a freakin break!

No one can tell you how long the filters will last, unless you mis-use a paper filter for wet use, then the answer will be "once". Generally I get a couple years out of my filters, but I pull and clean the foam wrapper and empty the vacuums every month, too.

Sure, Fein and Festool make very nice, very quiet units at 3-4 times the price of an equivalent US made Shop Vac... great if quiet is a primary goal... but that doesn't invalidate Shop Vac products, which are loud, cheap, effective, and reliable.

I've gotten at least a decade out of each of my Shop Vac's, 3 decades out of a Craftsman shop vacuum....
