What type of oil with your bypass system

I think blue shop towels would work fine, but you'd have to trim them a bit for length. Now, if you could find a canister to hold them.

I decline to speculate on the probablility of filtration, rather observe empirical results.

The frequency of my current TP intervals is 5k miles - less than alot of OCIs I hear bantied about around here. YMMV.

Our oil gets refreshed as required, in all probability realtively often, but not excessively, in my judgement. YMMV.

Our cost for two TP changes represents approximately one percent of the cost of the OG filter, makeup oil inc., over the same interval. You may actually do the math. Or not.

I prefer to waste nothing wherever possible, including my time pontificating and speculating about why a particular system I have invested in needs justification, as I am actually secretly beginning to doubt it myself.
