What to use to lower the t-850 trans with my jack?

So i'm going to be dropping the t-850 out of an srt-4 and I'm looking for an adapter for the jack I'm getting, Omega 29023, that will allow me to support and lower the trans. It has a 1.01" hole and I was thinking about something like this but I don't think it's wide enough for the t-850. Looking for some better options.

That's the one I have, worked fine when I upgraded the clutch in my SRT4. I also used a ratcheting tie down.

By the way, do you know if a 20" high jack will be high enough with this adapter to lower the transmission? 20" is about standard height on a auto floor jack plus the height of the tranny adapter itself, not sure if that'll be enough or not...

i made a craddle out of wood for my jack and used a bolt to hold it down.

Thats about the same lift on my jack and I didn't have any issues. I supported the car on jack stands and had plenty of room.
