What Temperature Do You Set Your Thermostat?

68 day and 64 night. With hot water baseboard I cannot recover quickly on a very cold day if night temp is below 64.

I do have a smart controller to vary boiler temp based upon outdoor temp.

This has been quite the eye opener for me. All I can say to some of you is, "Sweet Jesus"!

I don't know how some of you do it! I'm solidly at the bottom of the minority amongst those who responded.

I'm wearing thermal underwear top and bottom, wool socks, jeans, and a sweater.

I sleep with a heated mattress pad AND a heating blanket with a thick comforter on top of that. I also wear pajamas and socks.

68 when I go to bed and when home away for extended periods.

70 all day dressed how I am and I'm cold! Was thinking of turning the heat up a couple of degrees.

-3F right now.

If I visited some of your homes, I wouldn't take my coat off.

We only have 1 heater in one room. We set it about 72-75. That room is hot but the others are cold. 75 makes it livable in our bedroom at night so I dont get a sore throat. Bout 65 in the bedroom

I like my house ice cold,so the winter is always welcome!! I turn my heater off at night, usually gets in the lower 60s,plus I have three fans blowing on us.

Currently 24 F here, forecast calling for low of 10 F tonight.

I set to 65 when gone, bring it up to 68 when home and leave it there for sleeping. Standard efficiency Rheem gas furnace, house about 2000 sq ft nothing special.

Was gone the last couple days for Christmas. Had the thermostat down to 59 degrees, and turned it up to our normal of 72 when we got home. Last year I set it at 74, but I am trying 72 this year. Summer it sets at 78, with lots of fans, both ceiling and regular.

66F during day, 64F at night. 68 for the 6-7am and 8-9pm timeslots.

Personally I find that a bit too chilly if I'm just sitting in front of a computer, but with any amount movement it's not so bad.

House is old and poorly insulated, so that is fighting against us. Next cold snap and I'll probably start wearing a hat to bed as my head gets too cold.
