Ill have to see if oriellys has it their selection on that kind of stuff leaves a little to be desired. So di these still take dexron 3 i wasnt sure

i have asked this question on a jeep forum and 2003 and new jeeps use synthetic ATF but older then that the manual says to use power steering fluid. is it safe and better to use Synthetic ATF?

why not just use power steering specific fluid?

Because most applications call for ATF, which is more robust.

Depends on the application, but if one requires a specific fluid, it is probably best to use that fluid.

I'd be inclined not to replace the fluid if it's original. There's a chance there's enough slop in the system at this point that a thinner, new fluid won't work well.

My Dodge Aries specs some weird part #....which is equivalent to ATF+3 or ATF+4.....could be your Chevy uses ATF as well (Dexron of some flavor lol....)

Just did a siphon of mine too.....got about 8 oz. out of the reservoir

Using my Mixmizer Siphon Pump Took just a couple draws to empty it.....

My 2004 Nissan Altima calls for for Nissan PSF to be used in power steering, what oil would I use for it to be the equivalent?
