Curious, what parts do you guys grease on a car and do you use good ole wheel bearing grease or specialized greases too?

I don't think there is anything I grease on any of my cars. Even on door and hood hinges I use a spray lubricant rather than grease.

Valvoline Ford grease.Other than 6-8 zerks on the Rat, I use grease on hubs and and lugs. Wheel bearing grease on any sealed bearing I can get into without ruining.

How do you do it? Like apply sparingly from outside or?

The only serviceable thing I have are Moog tie rod ends. I give them 2 shots of Valvoline Syn grease every OCI.

I once saw neverseize painted on the spots that limit steering travel under a car.

Apart from wheel bearings and suspension points, I'll use a lower grade grease. I keep a small tub of grease and a brush for general purposes.

Fluid film, but I believe that its also over kill (though I do it myself).

I wouldn't grease lug nuts. Torque specs are typically for clean and dry threads; lubing them will almost certainly lead to over-torquing. If studs break because of corrosion and DT's over-torquing, they get replaced. I have zerks on my truck's tie-rod ends, and ball joints, but nowhere on my three passenger cars. The only other place that gets greased regularly is my trailer ball just before it's used for a towing task.

Both. Depends on what I have

Ive been greasing hubs and lugs for over 30yrs. Ever since I had to drive the LTD in figure 8s to break the wheels loose from the hubs. I'm more worried about being able to change a tire than I am about losing one. I also use the tool that I'd be using to change it.

Our 2015 Sonic & 2006 Lacrosse do not , to my knowledge , have grease zerks for the traditional suspension parts .

As I have stated in another thread , P B Blaster for door hinges ( may use synthetic motor oil in the future ) . What ever oil or grease is handy on lug bolts / studs .

I do not know of anything else that I grease .
