What parts do you grease on a car?

Neither. Dielectric grease around the plastic to lead terminal, and some on the top of the cable to terminal gap after installed/torqued. Never had a leaky battery with that.
 
Seat tracks
Valve cover gaskets
Wheel bearings
Spark plug threads
Zerk fittings for my front ends
Speedo cable

Then again, my car is a 69 VW Bug
 
Anything that has a zerk gets grease. I am slowly dwindling my stock down to carry one type of grease. When ripping vehicles apart, I usually add a touch of grease or if handy, antiseize to the bolts and mating surfaces. Makes future repairs somewhat easier.
