after im done completing everything that is neccessary for AUTO-RX i would like to run some synthetic oil that lasts long.. what oil does BITOG members recommend? I have a 94 infiniti g20 if that helps..

You don't state your milage, but I think your car and your wallet will appreciate Valvoline Maxlife with the A3/B3 rating.

what you mean what it says in the manual? i have no idea i change my synthetic oil every 3k

and i dont know where to get amsoil i dont think i see it in my local pepboys/walmart/strauss

BTW, M1 EP should work.
Amsoil is a time-tested and proven extended OCI solution.
I'd actually venture that any oil with the ACEA A3 endoresement on it should work pretty darned well, assuming the viscosity meets your needs.

run a a Full Synthetic that is in your price range, run it for 5k to 6k....get a UOA and get suggestion on how long to run it.

Define "long" 12,500 long or 25,000 long? I ran 12,500 on conventional (dino) 5w30 Havoline and got a REAL good UAO. Is that long enough? The owners manual called for 5w30 however, what does your manual say?

I had a 94 g20 from brand new till 155,000 miles.used mobil 1 exclusivly at 5-6000 mile changes-never burned or leaked a drop, ran like new when I traded it for a q45.great little car with unbeatable reliability and durability!

I suppose an oil with the long life designations by BMW, MB, GM, etc.

Mobil 1 0W 40 will probably outlast anything else as far as mileage goes. My UOA with over 15,000 miles is on here and looks fine...

I asked Blackstone as well and they said they didn't think any other oil would go further than the M1 0W 40.
