I'd be interested to see an analysis on these. When an diesel oil turns black (they all do very quickly), that tells me that the oil is doing its job by sequestering the soot produced by the engine, to be carried to the full and (if applicable) bypass filter. Frankly, I'd be more worried if it DIDN'T turn black.quote:
