What oil are you running in your lawnmower?

I need the exercise from pushing the mower, and the way the lot is set up, a bigger mower would be more trouble than it's worth...I have a fenced back yard AND an area behind the fence that I mow, so I have to go through two sets of gates. I also like to vary the pattern of stripes each time and the smaller mower makes that really easy to do.

My $20.00 Craigslist Troy Bilt trim mower gets Pep Boys House brand 30 wt. that was free with a MIR. When that is gone, I have some 10w30 Exxon dino and Castrol syn blend in my stash that will be pressed into service.
My X300 is presently running Citgo Synthetic that I picked up for $.49/qt. I have enough for one more change. When that is done, I will probably go back to Turf Gard as I found some of that when cleaning out the shed the other day.

Here is what I run in all my small engines:

2008 Toro Recycler mower - 6hp Briggs Quantum (100ish hours): Rotella T6 5w40

2005 John Deere G110 tractor - 25hp Kohler V-twin with 700+ hours: Rotella T5 10w30

1998 ExCell Pressure Washer - 6hp Briggs Quantum: Rotella T 15w40

1991 MTD rear tine tiller - 5hp Briggs flathead: Rotella T 15w40

1988 Coleman Generator - 8hp Briggs flathead: Rotella T6 5w40

1984 Toro 724 snowblower - 7.75hp Briggs Intek OHV (re-power): Pennzoil YB 5w30

1980 Little Wonder push blower - 5hp Briggs flathead: Rotella T 15w40

1971 Gravely C8 walkbehind - 7.6hp Gravely engine: Rotella T5 10w30

Mobil Delvac Elite 0W-30 in my four stroke equipment (Subaru SX 21, Honda GX 200 and Briggs lawnmower engine). I use Amsoil Saber 2-stroke oil in my Husqvarna BT580.

I don't think it makes much difference, or even whether or not it gets changed makes much difference ....

That said, every four stroke, regardless of number of cylinders or HP, is using Mystik SX-8 10w-30, API SH ( I think ), which is about one third PAO. When that is finally gone, they'll start using up my Mystik JT-8 15w-50, that I had for a dozer I no longer have.

If I actually had to buy some, I would probably just get a case of Mystik 30 weight.

Formula Shell 5W-30 in my Honda GCV160 push mower. Next change I'll either use the Castrol Syntec Edge 10W-30 I have on hand or possibly buy some Rotella T5 10W-30.
