Is tihs flat head tappet, it ceranly is not roller head.

It is for KIA CEED (hidraulic lifter).

That is not really a tappet. It is the pivot point of the rocker arm on OHC engine. It is hydraulic and does adjust clearance to zero. It does not touch the cam, well unless there is some sort of catastrophic failure. I have seen them called hydraulic lash adjusters, but there are probably other names.

Lash adjuster. If you have a dodge with the 4.7 it clicks for a few min when you start it.Normal is what the dodge guys say

That is a hydraulic lash adjuster for a finger follower (end pivot rocker arm) valvetrain. It's the most prevalent valvetrain design in modern automotive engines.

Oh! Thanks. But how do I know if my engine has flat head or roller head tappets?

Hyundai kappa III engine (G4LC) 1.4 petrol mpi (2017).

It doesn't have tappets, it has roller followers. The HLA's pictured above take the slack out of the follower assembly.
