So, this got me thinking: what brand and kind of oil and fuel and air filters, etc does the U.S.ARMY and U.S.NAVY and other branches of the military use in their equipment? Thank you in advance

After the bribes and contract favoritism are all figured out any branch of the military installs whatever the supply chain sends them.

Just because we love and admire the military and all they represent that doesn't mean they're insulated from the scum and dishonesty of the real world.

I can only speak for the Army, in general terms.

Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) is reponsible for procurement of bulk and packaged petroleum products (as well as many other items like fuel). The procurements, for the most part, are based on lowest bidder and required performance of the product. When I was on active duty (1980's) in the Army, I saw petroleum products from nearly all the major US oil companies (Texaco, Chevron, Shell, Amoco come to mind). Today, quite a few "green" products are procured, due to the Executive Branch mandate to use a percentage of recycled products.

Some unique products may be procured from a GSA Schedule, too, but the bulk is procured by DLA contracts.

Yes you too can pilot a F-16 fighter jet where the lubrication filters were obtained via a lowest bid contract.

On aircraft they're a fine stainless steel mesh and they're cleanable by putting them in an ultrasonic tank filled up with trichlorotrifluoroethane.

Who cares about the filters...it's the low bid parachute I'm worried about.
