What is Your Opinion on GT Radial

I see these tires often, they are very cheap and made in India. Have any of you heard of these before and if so, are they a quality tire.
 
I would have a hard time sorting just by that name. Maybe you could get a manufacturer out of the DOT stamp code?
 
My only comment is that I value my life and my family's and no cheapo tire is going on my vehicles.

I agree 100%. There are too many good tires on the market to run something questionable to save a few $$.

No "poor" people here evidently,,,. Even low quality inports are better than the used junk so many of my customers can barely scrape up $25. for.

I'd rather have a good used Michelin tire, than some sort of new no name brand tire that is made only God knows where.

Nexen, along with Hankook and Kumho, is one of the "Korean Big Three" tire manufacturers. Each of these companies is trying to establish itself in the U.S. right now. And yes, the N5000 is a great tire! Not an el cheapo or garbage tire, by any means.
